If you’re setting up a book group for the first time, or are looking for different things to do in your group, you can find lots of help online.

If you’re worried about the conversation drying up, have a look at our suggestions for Things to Talk About  – or Ideas to get you talking on the Reading Groups for Everyone website.

Publishers’ websites are a good source of information on authors and books, and often have freely available reading group guides – have a look at Penguin’s guide to The Help and Faber’s guide to The Secret Scripture. Reading guides are worth checking out, though not everyone finds them useful.
