Time to send your Aye Write! wish list

Just had a very exciting morning at the first Aye Write! 2012 meeting, where the programme is starting to take shape. The SQA Book Group will be pleased to hear that Jane Harris is coming – they are big fans of The Observations and are currently reading Gillespie and I. But the rest of the programme is under wraps – lips sealed, wild horses etc.

We want to see all Glasgow book groups at the festival. Who would your group like to meet? Send your favourite authors, and we’ll do our best to arrange it. Please note: only living authors……

  1. Wow that is great news! ‘Gillespie and I’ by Jane Harris is so intriguing and I can’t wait to discuss it with everyone in my book group to see what they think. We will have plenty of questions for Jane.

  2. I’d personally love to see Catriona McPherson at an event one day. She is a Scottish author who writes the Dandy Gilver mysteries. She was involved in the Wigtown festival once a few years ago but I missed it.
I know the Cosy Mystery book group members are fans of M C Beaton’s Agatha Raisin series and I’ve recently been enjoying her Travelling Matchmaker series set in the Regency period. She would be a great addition to AyeWrite too.
